Delete your account in the app

  1. Sign in to the Taraweeh Connect app.
  2. Go to Settings → Delete account.
  3. Re-enter your password and confirm that deletion cannot be undone.

Deletion is immediate. There is no grace period or undo.

Open account deletion in the app

Before you delete

  • You must first cancel any confirmed booking using the Cancel booking action. Open applications and invitations are cancelled automatically, and the other side is told.
  • If you are the last user of a mosque or private group, its open listings are closed. If others share access, only your access is removed.
  • Administrator accounts cannot be deleted in the app.

What is erased

  • Your profile details, photos and recitation samples.
  • Your verification documents.
  • Your address and availability.
  • Trusted contacts, saved profiles and areas, and notifications.
  • Photos and files you sent in chats.
  • Your sign-in.

What is kept

So that the other side keeps its history, past matches, bookings, reviews and text messages stay, shown as from a “Deleted user”. Your profile no longer appears in search, on the map or on public profiles.

Reports filed by or about you, messages and files that are part of an open report, and audit logs are kept under our retention rules.

If you cannot use the app

If you cannot sign in, or deletion does not complete, email support@taraweehconnect.com from the email address registered to your account and ask us to delete it.
