For Huffaz
For Huffaz: preparing a profile that hosts can trust
What to include in your Taraweeh Connect profile — recitation samples, experience, availability and verification — so mosques and groups can assess you with confidence.
Taraweeh Connect team · · 1 min read
Hosts decide who to shortlist largely from your profile. A complete, honest profile helps the right mosques and groups find you, and saves time for everyone.
Recitation samples
You can upload up to three recitation samples and three Tajweed samples, each up to ten minutes long, and add up to two video samples as YouTube Unlisted links. Choose clear recordings that reflect how you lead Taraweeh.
Experience and credentials
- Your Hifz institute and year of completion.
- Ijazah and Tajweed details.
- Years leading Taraweeh, and the cities, countries and mosques where you have served.
- Languages you speak.
Availability and preferences
Set your Ramadan availability — full Ramadan, part of Ramadan, weekends or the last ten nights — along with travel and accommodation preferences. Hosts see whether you are available for Ramadan, but never your specific dates or bookings.
Get verified
Some hosts only accept applications from Verified Huffaz. To earn the badge, submit your government ID, a selfie and your Hifz completion certificate for review by an administrator.
