For Huffaz
The ‘Available for Ramadan’ badge: what hosts see, and what they don’t
How declaring your availability helps mosques and Private Groups find you, and exactly which details stay private.

Hosts searching for a Hafiz can filter for Huffaz who are available this Ramadan. If you haven’t declared your availability, you won’t appear in those results. Declaring it takes a minute, in Settings → Hafiz preferences.
What hosts see
- A green ‘Available for Ramadan’ badge on your search card and your public profile.
- On your profile, one broad category: Full Ramadan, Last 10 nights, Weekends or Partial Ramadan.
What hosts don’t see
- Your exact available dates.
- The days you have marked as unavailable.
- Whether you already have a booking.
If you have not declared availability, nothing is shown at all. There is no ‘Unavailable’ label. Marking only some days as unavailable, without choosing an availability option, counts as not declared.
How hosts use it
Hosts can filter Huffaz by availability: Any, Available for Ramadan, Full Ramadan or Weekends. They can also filter for Huffaz free for all of the last 10 nights. That includes Huffaz who chose Full Ramadan or Last 10 nights, and Partial Ramadan Huffaz whose dates cover the whole final ten. It does not include Huffaz who chose Weekends.
Your location on the map
Hosts searching on the map see you at the centre of your city, drawn as a city-sized area, never your address. Your exact address is never shared with hosts.
Keep it accurate
- Declare availability for the current season. The badge only appears once a season has been set up in the app.
- If you accept a booking for the whole month, update your availability so hosts don’t keep inviting you.
- If your plans change mid-season, change the category. Hosts plan around it.
