Before you accept an offer: what to settle in chat
The offer you accept is the host’s listing. Here is what to agree in chat first, and how to make sure the listing reflects it.

When a host sends you an offer, an Offer card appears in your conversation. It shows the listing’s terms: dates, rakaat, khatm expected, honorarium, and whether accommodation, meals and transport are provided. You accept or decline from that card. There is no separate contract in the app.
That makes the listing the written record. Anything you agree in chat that differs from the listing exists only in your chat history.
Questions to settle first
- Dates: the exact first and last nights, and any nights you cannot do.
- Prayer: the rakaat, the khatm expectation, and the recitation pace the congregation is used to.
- Accommodation: a private room or shared, how far from the venue, and whether there is a quiet place to revise.
- Meals: which ones are provided, and who arranges them.
- Transport: travel to and from the city, and daily travel to the venue if you are staying elsewhere.
- Honorarium: the amount, and when and how it will be paid.
- Other duties: anything beyond leading Taraweeh that the host hopes for.
- People: who your contact is each night, and who to call if something goes wrong.
Sharing information in chat
Until a booking is confirmed, the chat reminds both sides not to share a home address or personal contact details. If a message looks like a phone number or email address, you are asked to confirm before it is sent. You can share images and PDFs, such as a certificate or a photo of the accommodation. Images have their location data removed.
Once you accept
- The booking is confirmed, and you see ‘Booking Confirmed’.
- You can see the host’s exact address while the booking is confirmed. Your own address is never shared.
- The booking safety tools become available.
- The same conversation carries on, so everything you agreed stays in one place.
If the terms aren’t right, you can decline the offer. Declining ends the match on that listing.
