Every application you send and every invitation you receive has a status, shown in My applications & invitations, on your dashboard and on the match page. The match page also shows a dated timeline of each step. Hosts can skip optional steps, so your timeline may jump from Under Review straight to an offer.
Getting started
- Application Sent: your application has reached the host. Nothing is needed from you yet.
- Invitation Received: a host has invited you to one of their listings. You choose Interested or Decline. Chat opens once you say Interested.
In progress
- Under Review: the host is considering you. Chat is open, so you can ask and answer questions.
- Shortlisted: you are on the host’s shortlist.
- Interview Requested: the host wants to talk. Agree a time in chat.
- Interview Scheduled: a date and time are set. Check the note for a call link or venue.
- Offer Awaiting Response: the host has sent an offer on the listing’s terms. Accept or Decline it from the Offer card in your conversation.
Confirmed
- Booking Confirmed: you accepted the offer. You can now see the host’s exact address, and the booking safety tools are available.
- Ramadan Completed: the booking’s end date has passed. You can now leave a review of the host.
Ended
- Declined: you or the host said no.
- Cancelled: the match was withdrawn before a booking. A cancelled booking shows ‘You Cancelled’ or ‘Cancelled by Host’.
- Opportunity Closed: another Hafiz accepted an offer on this listing, or the host filled or closed it.
Once a match has ended, you cannot apply to that listing again unless the host re-opens it. After a re-open you can apply afresh, and it starts as a new match.
